The handbook was read last
A site is found, an agreement drafted, and only then does someone read the program's supervision clause. The firm reads it first, before a clinic is approached.
The preceptor's license does not match
A family practice with a physician assistant preceptor, offered to a program that requires a nurse practitioner or physician. The clinical partner checks license against handbook on every shortlist.
Telehealth was assumed acceptable
Behavioral programs differ on how many hours may be remote and under what supervision. The behavioral partner rules in writing before a remote site is offered.
The agreement went in the wrong template
A school's affiliation office rejects a packet that is not in its own format, and a term is lost to the resubmission. The firm files in the school's template, every time.
A document expired mid-term
A titer or certification dated inside the rotation, and a clinic that will not let the professional through the door until it is renewed. Compliance is dated past the engagement before day one.
The site withdrew and nobody had a second
A preceptor leaves; the hours already banked are stranded. The partner book holds a second site of the same license in the same state, and hours carry forward.

One engagement letter covers the cohort. It names an associate for each placement, binds the firm to your templates, closes compliance before the term begins, and copies your placement office on the weekly letter. A cohort of forty opening in August is shortlisted in June.

What does the firm advise before a site is approached?
Whether the site can be engaged at all under your program's handbook. The clinical or behavioral partner reads the supervision clause, the license the program names, the setting the course requires and the hours available, and gives an opinion in writing. A clinic that would fail any of the four is not approached, however willing it is.
What happens if the school rejects the preceptor?
It rarely does when the license and the packet match the handbook, which is what the firm checks first. Where a school does reject, the partner book holds a second site of the same license in the same state, the packet is refiled in the school's template, and hours already banked carry forward under the substitution clause.
Who carries the risk of a compliance lapse?
Prevention is the firm's undertaking. The compliance associate collects every screening, titer and certification against the clinic's own list and dates each past the engagement before the first day. A document that expires mid-term is a matter the firm has already closed, not one it discovers.
Does the firm act for institutions as well as professionals?
Yes. The engagement letter for a cohort names an associate for each placement in it, commits the firm to filing in the institution's own templates, closes compliance before the term begins, and copies the placement office on the weekly letter.
Which programs does the practice cover?
Three practices. Nursing: the nurse practitioner tracks, DNP residency, MSN leadership, education and informatics practicum, and RN-to-BSN hours. Behavioral: clinical mental health counseling and marriage-and-family internships, and psychology practicum. Field: MSW and BSW placement, plus the applied-practice hours of MPH, MHA and human-services programs.
What will the firm decline?
The firm declines four instructions: to secure a grade, to produce a particular preceptor by name, to place a client at a site the program forbids, and to engage any site whose supervision rule cannot be met. Each refusal is given in writing before any fee, because an engagement the firm cannot carry is worth more declined than taken.
